Privacy Policy

Pimple Popping — a game about skincare procedures
Effective date: 8 October 2026

The short version. We collect nothing. Pimple Popping has no accounts, no analytics and no servers of ours; everything you do in the Game is written to your own device and stays there. The one exception is advertising: the Game offers an optional reward video, served by Google AdMob or by Yandex Ads, and these companies collect device identifiers, your IP address and interaction data in order to serve it. Nothing they collect reaches us.

This policy explains what happens to information when you use Pimple Popping (the “Game”), published by P.Aleks (“we”, “us”). It applies to the Android version distributed through Google Play.

1. Information we collect

None. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any account. There is no sign-in and no profile. The Game contains no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking of ours of any kind.

We operate no servers. There is nowhere for your information to be sent to us, and nothing of yours for us to hold.

Our advertising partners are a separate matter. Google and Yandex collect data through the adverts in the Game, and section 4 sets out exactly what and when.

2. What the Game stores on your device

Your progress is saved locally, in the Game's own private storage:

None of this identifies you, and none of it leaves your device. It is removed completely when you uninstall the Game or clear its data through Android's settings. Because we never receive it, we cannot restore it for you — and there is nothing for us to delete on request, since uninstalling is the deletion.

3. Permissions

The Game itself requests one Android permission: vibration, used for the small buzz when a procedure goes wrong.

The advertising component adds internet access, network state and the advertising ID permission, together with several background-service permissions that the Google Mobile Ads SDK and the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK declare on their own behalf. They exist so that an advert can be fetched and shown; the Game uses none of them for anything else.

Nothing requests the camera, microphone, contacts, files or device location.

4. Advertising and purchases

There are no in-app purchases. Nothing in the Game costs money, and we never see payment information of any kind.

There is one advert, and it is optional: a reward video in the till, which you may choose to watch in exchange for one crystal when your crystals have run out. There are no banners, nothing plays between visitors, and nothing plays unless you ask for it. Decline it and the till still offers you the clock and the exchange of stars.

The advert is served by Google AdMob or, when Google has none to offer, by Yandex Ads. So that the video is ready the moment you ask for it, both advertising SDKs start with the Game and fetch an advert in advance — which means the Game contacts Google and Yandex at launch, not only when you press the button.

Google AdMob

By Google's own account, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares the following, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

All of it goes to Google and is encrypted in transit. None of it comes to us: we see aggregate earnings in the AdMob console and nothing about any individual person. Google's current description of what its SDK collects is published at developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure, and how Google uses data from apps that use its services is set out at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Yandex Ads

By Yandex's own account, the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares device identifiers, including the Android advertising ID, for advertising: to show adverts and to measure them. The SDK also includes AppMetrica, Yandex's analytics library, which it runs in an anonymous mode for its own purposes; AppMetrica may collect crash reports and diagnostic information about the device and the SDK's performance.

All of it goes to Yandex and is encrypted in transit. None of it comes to us: we see aggregate earnings in the Yandex Ads interface and nothing about any individual person. Yandex's description of what its SDK collects is published at ads.yandex.com/helpcenter/en/dev/android/app-privacy-android, and Yandex's privacy policy is at yandex.com/legal/confidential.

Consent, and how to say no. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland a consent form provided by Google appears before any personalised advert is shown, and your answer is yours to change. Refuse, and adverts are served without personalisation rather than not at all. Players in those regions are always shown Yandex adverts without personalisation. Where Google requires it, the Game's settings offer a “Privacy” button to change your answer at any time. Anywhere in the world you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android's own settings, under Privacy → Ads; and you can simply never press the button, in which case no advert is ever shown to you.

5. Children

Pimple Popping is not directed to children. It depicts realistic skin procedures, including blood, and is rated accordingly in Google Play. Its target audience is adults, and it is not designed for or aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and adverts served in the Game are not directed to children.

6. Your rights

Data protection laws — including the GDPR in the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA in California — give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability.

Against us these rights have nothing to bite on: we hold no personal data, we process none, and we sell and share none, for money or otherwise. There is nothing for us to export or erase because nothing reaches us in the first place.

The data described in section 4 is held by Google and Yandex, not by us, and rights over it are exercised against them through their privacy policies: Google's and Yandex's. If you would rather start with us, write and we will answer and point you the right way. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date at the top. Any change that affects what data is collected will be published before the version that makes it is released.
